The 8th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2015), held from 9–11 March 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand at the AETAS Lumpini Hotel, brought together an expanded global community of researchers, practitioners, policymakers and community leaders to explore contemporary challenges and innovations in poverty reduction and social protection.

Over three days, participants shared research findings, country case studies and community-driven initiatives focused on strengthening social safety nets, enhancing inclusion and adapting to rapidly changing economic and social environments. The conference upheld the series’ hallmark of combining high-quality research exchange with inclusive dialogue and meaningful global networking.
