The 12th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2019), held from 9–11 March 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand at the AETAS Lumpini Hotel, brought together a global community of scholars, practitioners, policymakers and leaders in the field of social protection. 

Over three days of sessions, participants exchanged research findings, country-level case studies and community-driven initiatives aimed at strengthening social protection systems, reducing multidimensional poverty, and responding to new vulnerabilities in a changing world. This edition underscored the conference’s role as a nexus for interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration.
