The 11th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2018), held from 9–11 March 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand at the AETAS Lumpini Hotel, gathered an international community of scholars, practitioners, policymakers and development professionals to discuss current challenges, emerging approaches, and case studies in poverty reduction and social protection.
Throughout three days of sessions, participants shared research, exchanged practical insights from diverse country contexts, and explored how social protection systems can better address vulnerability, inequality and rapid socio-economic change. PSPC2018 continued the tradition of fostering meaningful dialogue among individuals and organizations committed to improving social outcomes on both local and global levels.
