The 16th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2026) was successfully held from March 9th – 11th, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and professionals from across the globe to exchange ideas and experiences related to poverty reduction and social protection.

Over the three days of the conference, participants shared research findings, practical insights, and policy perspectives while engaging in thoughtful discussions on some of the most pressing social and economic challenges facing communities worldwide. The diversity of backgrounds and expertise among participants contributed to a rich and engaging program, highlighting both global perspectives and locally grounded approaches to addressing poverty and strengthening social protection systems.
Beyond the formal sessions, the conference also provided a valuable opportunity for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among colleagues working in related fields. The discussions, questions, and conversations throughout the event reflected the strong commitment of the participants to advancing knowledge and finding practical solutions.
