Venue: Royal Benja Hotel
The 7th Poverty and Social Protection Conference (PSPC2014), held from 9th to 11th March 2014 at Royal Benja Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, gathered scholars, practitioners and policymakers from around the world to exchange perspectives on poverty, inequality and social protection. Over three days of presentations, discussions and networking, participants explored how policy design, community initiatives and research can work together to reduce vulnerability and support more inclusive development.
With new collaborations established, case studies shared from a wide range of countries, and lively debates on the future of social protection systems, PSPC2014 continued to strengthen the conference’s role as a meeting point for global dialogue on poverty reduction.
